Coronavirus: Notaro Homecare reach out to community
AS the coronavirus sweeps across the UK; Notaro Homecare Ltd is reaching out to their community by giving out care packages for those in need.
Notaro Homecare Ltd is not only continuing to care for and support their service users, but they are thinking about their wider community too during the coronavirus outbreak.
Maria Meager, Care Supervisor, is the leader behind the thoughtful project. She is asking her caring colleagues to donate £10 or any spare items, to put together 25 + bags (so far) of essentials for vulnerable people self-isolating during the coronavirus crisis. The bags include everything from UHT milk, soap to all-important toilet rolls.
Not only have the team and other generous people managed to contribute to the bags, but Maria also contacted Farm Foods Locking Road, Weston Super Mare, who have been exceptionally helpful by putting certain groceries aside for them to collect.
“Our caring team had a discussion and decided to make care packages for the vulnerable. Our local Farm Foods very kindly donated some essentials for us. And we have managed to put together the bags; that include tinned foods, tea bags, sugar, eggs and the ‘gold dust’ toilet rolls!”
Homecare Manager, Yvette, said
‘We will be giving them out to our service users in need. And any of our carers that are struggling due to the shops being empty. But also to those in need in our local community.’
So if you or someone you know needs some supplies; please get in contact with the team at Notaro on 01934 422800.
They can arrange a no contact pick up at their offices on The Boulevard or can deliver for those that are housebound.
